Air conditioning revamp at Faro Airport |
ANA – Airports of Portugal – have assured the public that cool air will be reinstated by the end of next week.
Numerous complaints have been made about how hot it is inside the Airport, particularly by people visiting the pharmacy. ANA spokesperson Rui Oliveira assured passengers and employees that it is a temporary situation caused by work that commenced at the beginning of the month to “upgrade the existing system”. ANA explained that the company chose the month of May to carry out the work as “temperatures are milder”, and if they had taken place in summer of winter, people would “suffer more”. “We believe that by the end of next week the work will be finished”, Rui Oliveira said. |
