Walking in the beautiful Algarve |
This is an amazing 2.5 hour circular walk that will take you through unknown valleys and up onto the hilltops with great views to the sea. There is one short climb and the stream has to be crossed but there are stepping stones.
14.00pm Start - meet at the cafe Belo Horizonte, this is on the road towards the Barragem from Odiaxere. Exit A22 at Mx Grande/Odiaxere and drive into Odiaxere. In the centre at the traffic lights turn right and follow signs for the Barrgaem. You pass under the motorway and about 1.5km further along the cafe is off on the right (just after a turn to the left for Colinas Verdes). All are welcome to come along - there is no need to book (there is a charge of €5 per walk which includes a donation to charity).
