One in 10 holidaymakers set sights on the Moon |
Holidaymakers think trips to the Moon will be possible within the next decade. Not satisfied with a week in the Algarve, some Brits think future holidays will take in space station resorts, submarine adventures and even time travel, a poll found. As many as 11% say package holidays to the Moon will be all the rage by 2020, while 4% believe they will be able to beat Neil Armstrong there by using time travel. And 16% reckon a rail link to the US could be on track in 10 years, a Sunshine.co.uk study revealed. A spokesman said: “People just aren’t content with holidays of today. “Some quite like the idea of floating in space as opposed to lounging by the pool.” |
