'BT wins communications deal at Avis Spain, Portugal |
agreement, BT will provide telecommunications services at Avis Rent-a-Car Spain, Avis Contact Centres and Avis Rent-a-Car Portugal. BT will be in charge of Avis' WAN network in Spain and Portugal, WAN infrastructure for Avis' call centre, as well as manage and proactively monitor the car rental company's network. The contract further includes support for 3G services and 24x7 maintenance at Avis headquarters. Worth around EUR 4.5 million, the deal covers a period of seven years. |
